Friday July 9th, 2021

Friday August 13th, 2021

June 3rd will be held at Windjammer Point Pavillion in lake St. Louis: (38.803132,-90.7751108) or click Google Maps location ) off of the Highway 70 behind the hospital at the Lake St. Louis exit.  This is a beautiful venue with a pavillion, a huge dock and….flush toilets!

July 9th and August 13th will be at our normal place, Jefferson Point Pavillion in Lake Saint Louis, Mo (38.787065,-90.8019695 or click Google Maps location ) off of the Lake St. Louis Civic Center Dr (service road) off of highway 40/64 at the Lake St. Louis exit.  This is a beautiful venue with a pavillion, a huge dock and….flush toilets!

Unique at this venues:

  • All boats must be registered with Lake St. Louis (must have current CA stickers).
  • Jet Skies will not be used as safety boats, we will use another ski boat for safety.
  • Pavilion is close with nice flush toilets
  • Pontoon will be available at all three events; very nice dock for people to embark and disembark for boat rides

Thank you Lake Saint Louis Community Association!

We Provide: MDWSA provides all of the adaptive equipment for those who need it. We will have life jackets for volunteers whose positions require them.

Registration is required to ensure we have proper equipment available. To sign up as a volunteer, or to participate as a skier/athlete, just scroll down this page. All signups will be done on-line and will be on a first-come first-served basis. We do have limited space. If you can’t come, please, please, please cancel! As a skier/athlete, if you can’t make it and do not cancel, you could prevent someone else from signing up. For our volunteers; we are depending on everyone to show up in order to make this event a success so, please cancel so that we are able to refill your spot.

The June 3rd event will be hosted by our friends at Harbor Unlimited as part of their summer camp. We will have some “non-camper” spots available, however, those spots will be limited as the Harbor group gets top priority. We will need just as many volunteers as at our other events,

Covid-19 While MDSWA is taking necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at our ski clinics, participants and volunteers must self-monitor for signs of the virus (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath). You will be expected to follow MDWSA’s safety and hygiene protocols. Please, stay at home if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms or, in the past 14 days, have traveled internationally, have traveled to a highly impacted area, have been exposed to the virus or have been diagnosed with Covid 19. If you begin to experience symptoms once you are at the event, please leave the event premises immediately.

Things to bring check list: Towel(s), Sun Screen, Swim Suit, Hat, Sunglasses, Dry Change of Clothes, (optional: lawn chair, beach chair, blanket, umbrella for sun, camera, life jacket if you have your own, family members and friends.)

Sponsorships and Benefits

Interested in being a sponsor? At each of our ski clinics, we incur many costs, including (but not limited to): boat gas, ADA portable toilet and hand-wash basin rental, park rental fees, park ranger fees, insurance through USA Water Ski & Wake Sports, portable radios, food and drink (non-alcoholic) and t-shirts. For more information click here.

Volunteers

We need LOTS of volunteers. Volunteering at LSL Days is rewarding for everyone! Ask yourself if you are an experienced boat driver or water craft operator, water person, dry land person, paper work person, equipment person, food prep person or maybe you just like to make new friends. If you answered “yes” to any of these, then we have a job for YOU! No matter what your skill level is… or isn’t, we will find you something to do. We especially need ski boats (6) and pontoon boat (1) that are registered in LSL.

Participants

Of course, without you we wouldn’t be here. All disabilities are welcomed. If you have the desire, we will make it happen. We have plenty of adaptive water ski equipment to ensure that you have an amazing experience. It doesn’t matter if you have never skied or if you are ready for the Paralympics or Special Olympics, we have the equipment you need! If you are not comfortable with the thought of skiing, or just don’t want to ski, that’s ok! Participants can also go on an inner tube ride or a boat ride.
